  • New active travel links to the wider Keresley SUE network, with safe pedestrian and cycle routes.
  • Economic benefits to support the local economy as part of a sustainable pattern of development, including investment into the Keresley Link Road, public services and new community facilities.
  • Ecological enhancements to maximise biodiversity value and improve wildlife connectivity.

LAND USE BUDGET PLAN

ACCESS INTO THE SITE

The main site access will be taken from the Countryside Partnerships scheme to the east, which is currently under construction. An additional access point for pedestrians, cyclists and emergency use will be located to the northwest of the site at Fivefield Road.

Through access of Fivefield Road is intended to be closed to vehicles, providing an active travel movement corridor linking the site to the surroundings. A proposed spine road loops through the site connecting the two land parcels.
